Vision therapy is like physiotherapy for the eyes. You can re-train your visual skills to be better coordinated, more efficient and to have greater stamina.
Your eye muscles are not weak. You already have all the ability you need to use your eyes well. We only need to train your visual system to use these skills in a direct and coordinated way. A good analogy is learning to juggle - it doesn't take great strength, you already have all the muscles you need, the trick is in the coordination and this can be learned.
Anyone can benefit from strengthening their eye coordination! The people who will experience the most improvement are those who currently have eyestrain symptoms related to their use of their eyes for prolonged tasks:
The High Sight Vision Therapy program is broken up into 3 Phases. Participants are able to proceed at an individual pace however we aim to complete each phase within two months.
Participants are expected to commit to doing the prescribed exercises at home for a minimum of ten minutes a day per task. The more often practice occurs, the faster your eyes will respond to therapy.
There are set endpoints to each phase. When you have reached these measures of ability we are able to proceed to the next phase. Each phase builds on the skills already learnt in the previous phase.
At the end of the program you will receive a maintenance program which will help you to keep the skills you have learnt.
