Optometrist Advice on Custom-made Soft Contact Lenses

Soft Contact Lenses can be made for a nearly unlimited range of prescriptions. They can be disposable on a 3 monthly basis, or other designs are replaced every 12-24 months.

They require more intensive cleaning and disinfection to keep them healthy for your eyes, due to the longer lifespan of the lenses.

Some materials can be tinted. A light tint will help you find them when you are blurry because you don't have your glasses on. A medium or dark tint will affect the color of your eyes.

They can be made Spherical or with astigmatism depending on your requirements. This makes Custom made soft lenses are great lenses for those outside the "standard" range of prescriptions.
