Magnetic clip on sunglasses are a great way to make your prescription eyewear more versatile. These need to be chosen at the time of choosing new frames for your prescription.
You can also combine features by having Transitions lenses in your frame and only using the clip-on when you want a darker tint, such as for driving. The Transitions lenses have variable tint to adjust to the ambient UV.
If you are looking for sunglasses to attach to your existing eyewear to make them sunglasses, then you can get flip up sunglasses. These are sold in most Optical stores and many pharmacies as an accessory to wear over glasses.
They are often unattractive, but practical.
