Looking for a Crazy Contact Lens?

Crazy Lens Tiger Eyes

It is with great sadness that I announce that CooperVision have discontinued the Crazy Lenses range. This range is no longer available in Australia.

Crazy contact lenses are a great way to jazz-up an outfit. I recommend them for fancy dress parties (Halloween, New Year's Eve) - not your Prom though, unless you want to scare off any dance partners!

There is something surreal about the effect that making your eyes look unnatural has on people. Even knowing that they are contact lenses doesn't take away the creepiness.

Colored Contact Lenses are fun and safe, if hygiene and use guidelines are followed. You must have a prescription from your Optometrist to purchase any type of contact lens in Australia. (Different laws may apply in your area)

A number of the designs do affect your side vision a bit, so make sure you test them out to see whether you are safe to drive, or organise a driver to take you. (A good idea if you'll be drinking anyway)

For a more realistic look you should try standard colored contact lenses.

Clear Prescription Contact Lens Options:

Daily Disposable Lenses - Wear them once then throw them away

Extended Wear Lenses - For those who wear lenses for long hours or want to sleep in lenses

Daily Care Lenses - Wear lenses in the day, take them out at night

Toric Lenses - For those with astigmatism

Multifocal Contact Lenses - For the over 40s, to help you read AND see distance

Custom soft lenses - For those whose prescription is out of the range of disposables

Novelty Lenses - crazy or realistic coloured lenses

Rigid Gas Permeable (RGP) Lenses - a stiffer lens that is custom made for excellent optics
