Traditionally, reading glasses have given you back the ability to focus on close objects such as when reading a book. But this has left objects at an intermediate distance, such as the computer, in a blur. This often results in glasses on the end of your nose - not a good look.

Until now, the options have been to put up with the limitations or to go the whole way with custom-made Progressive Glasses (multifocals) that you have to wear all the time.

Now there is more choice! Miniframe 2 offers you two levels of prescription: close reading and intermediate vision. With these you can read your recipe book AND see what you are chopping up for dinner. You can read the resume AND still see the candidate across the interview table.

Miniframe 2 has a clear frame front with metal temples in gold or silver. One size fits all - and unless you are quite petite, they do fit women as well as men. They are lightweight and comfortable, with very clear vision.

Not Ready for Custom-made Progressives

Have you noticed that there is a limit to the distance at which your cheap reading glasses work? Are they good for books but not as computer glasses? Or the other way around? If you aren't yet ready to invest in custom-made progressives (multifocals) then this is the next step. Miniframe 2 allows you to see close and intermediate distances clearly.

Miniframe 2 is also great for people who lose their glasses frequently!

Contact Lens Wearers

You wear Contact Lenses to correct your distance vision, but now you are finding you need a different prescription when you are reading or on the computer. Perhaps you have already tried Multifocal Contact Lenses and didn't like them or they weren't clear enough for you.

The Miniframe 2 is a great solution. You can wear them over your Contact Lenses when you are at the computer or reading and not worrry about glasses the rest of the time.

Rough Tasks

At those times when you are doing rough or potentially dirty tasks (like an oil change on the car, gardening, in the workshop) you don't want to risk damaging your good pair, especially if they are the great new custom-made progressives. Who can't use Miniframe 2?

Miniframe 2 is not customisable. So, if you need unequal prescriptions in your glasses (one eye worse than the other) or you have significant Astigmatism, you will need to organise Custom-made Progressives.
